Gina and Cary Martin Owners Gina and Cary Martin

Cary Martin is the president and co-founder of Little Rock Tours, Inc. Cary and his wife, Gina, started the company in response to the demand for a quality daily sightseeing tour around the city. Requests for bus service led to the purchase of more mini-buses, full-sized motor coaches, vans, and limousines. Little Rock Tours also serves as a full-service receptive operator and offers a one-of-a-kind Murder Mystery Dinner Theater inside a haunted museum and a dinner musical called the Little Rockin’ Supper Club. Little Rock Tours was also honored to be nominated and selected for membership in the Arkansas Small Business Hall of Fame 2007.

Prior to Little Rock Tours, Cary Martin was the primary news anchor at KATV Little Rock, the local ABC affiliate. He was recognized for excellence with two regional Emmy awards for investigative reporting and best news anchor. Cary was also nominated for a national Emmy for investigative reporting.

Cary went to college at The University of Tennessee at Martin, and was selected as one of the top 15 broadcasting students in the country, which won him an internship position at the networks in New York City with the International Radio and Television Society.

Cary started his broadcasting career at WBBJ in Jackson, Tennessee. He then moved on to anchor and report for WAFF in Huntsville, Alabama, KVOA in Tucson, Arizona, and then to Columbus, Ohio to work as a weekend anchor at WCMH. His final stop before Little Rock was in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he worked for three years as an anchor and reporter at WKRC. Along the way, Cary picked up numerous awards and Emmy nominations.

Gina L. Martin is Vice President. Before going full time she was the Director of eGovernment Relations for the Information Network of Arkansas. Gina also serves on the New Horizons Scholarship Committee, which provides annual full-paid scholarships to students pursuing careers in technology. Prior Little Rock Tours, Gina reported for KATV in Little Rock and served as co-host for the 2003 Jerry Lewis Telethon on FOX. An award-winning journalist who spent most of her television career in Columbus, Ohio, Gina also worked as an TV anchor/reporter for The Ohio News Network and WBNS-TV and hosted her own travel segment called Ohio Getaways. Gina has also reported live for CNN on a number of occasions. She spent two years as a main anchor in Mansfield, Ohio, and worked in Ohio Public Television and Radio, a division of NPR.

Gina earned a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, graduating Summa Cum Laude. For the past several years, she’s been involved with many charitable organizations doing television work for United Cerebral Palsy, the Children’s Miracle Network, and Easter Seals. On a local level, Gina has worked events for the American Lung Association Lung Run, the Museum of Discovery, and Star Fest 2000.
